All,

WE4Java 0.9.4 is now available for download at the URL below:

The change log for this release is shown below:

Beta Release 0.9.4 - Tuesday, 12/23/2008

This release contains the following updates:

  * Updated code to load a WE4Java.000 set file when a java application

starts. This helps to insure consistent behavior in responding to arrow

keys, selection changes, and text reading. List boxes, combo boxes, and sliders should now work correctly.

  * Updated logic for responding to left and right arrow key movement

(and ctrl left and right arrow movement) such that voice and punctuation

settings for keyboard voice are temporarily all set to on while the text

is spoken and then returned to their prior settings.

  * Support has been added for say current sentence.

  * A simple sound scheme has been added for opening and closing windows.

A future release will make this sound scheme optional or allow the use of

    the WinEyes sounds.

NOTE: An issue has been identified with the 0.9.3 and 0.9.4 beta versions

regarding use with MS Vista. This is being researched.
