Not in Outlook Express options, Albert. I just looked to make sure. I know
these options very well. And as I tried to convince the room earlier, a
comma is as good as a semicolon. I just sent myself a couple of emails using
two of my accounts as addressees, the first time separated by a comma, the
second time using a semicolon. They both appeared in the outbox showing a
semicolon as the separator, as I said happens. It is not a problem. I
remember that when I found out I could use a comma if I preferred, I
converted from using a semicolon, for what reason I can't even remember. I
think my little finger got tired of pressing the semicolon or something.
Anyway, whatever. I also tried out the idea of hitting Enter as a separator,
as someone mentioned you could do. That works, too, just fine. Although I
don't care to reach out my little finger for the Enter key. No big deal, but
I just happen to feel most comfortable dipping my third finger down one row
to press the comma. Just personal.
Anyway, it shouldn't be a Talmudic or Supreme Court discussion. As the folks
say on other lists when they think you're beeing too argumentative or
opinionated about something like this, hey dude theres a million ways to do
something in Window/Jaws and nobodys way is better than some other guy so
chill okay?
These people have good peacemaking intentions, or so they mean for it to
appear, but they usually aren't too good with punctuation or spelling for
some reason. They've got a short little span of attention. Sorry, stealing
a Paul Simon line from "You Can Call Me Al."
