[gui-talk] adobe audition

Josh,

The older versions, 1.0 and 1.5, were pretty accessible, but 2.0 started to act strange in how it displays text. It does
something such that neither Window-Eyes or JFW sees the text. I have not tried the latest version but have been led to
believe that it is the same. There are things about it that can be used, but the text display issues made some things I
used to do much more difficult. In that sense, Sound Forge seems to be more accessible. This may change, though. I
have heard that the open source program Audasity has gotten pretty accessible. If you are looking for something to use
at home, it is probably worth at least checking out Audasity and a demo of Gold Wave to see if either meet your needs.
