DSL speeds are mostly controlled by the company providing the
service. There are faster flavors of DSL available today. You would
first have to arrange/pay for faster service from your provider, if
it is available, then either your existing equipment would handle it,
or not, and you would have to get an upgrade. If it is 7 years old,
It might, but couldn't say for sure. That is a good bit of time in
computer time, but my Sisco DSL modem is that old I think, and can
handle the newer faster speeds.
