[gui-talk] Speech Loss in Avast List Boxes - WasRe: Avast Antivirus

I recently switched from AVG 7.5 Free edition to Avast Home 4.8. I
am quite happy with avast thus far but am experiencing lost of speech
in a few places in Avast, for example in the Avast "Virus Chest" list
view and in the list of messages under the "confirmation category" in
the Avast Program settings.

this is happening with several versions of jawas. nvda reads the
checkboxes in said list box in the avast program settings but not the
highlighted item. Nva went silent in the virus chest as well but I
also did not have any viruses quaranteened at this time.

If there is a setting I can change to get Avast to read better in
these areas, I would welcome any advice.

Thanks much.

Doris
