[gui-talk] Still frustrated with my computer

sherry,
You can turn off that notification without disabling AVG's scanning of your
email. I just launched my AVG and looked in both the control center and the
test center menus under Services to click on program settings, which I
thought is where I once turned this off, but when I pressed enter on that
menu item, I got a big booming Windows error sound and a message from AVG
that says this mysterious thing. Values have changed to 4. Or something like
that, with no response offered except for an OK button to close the
message.

So, I'm sorry. Again I can't help. And if anyone understands why I'm getting
such a result when I try to open the Program Settings, please explain!

ntohing nohting etttings have changemyterious form itme, itme,

Hi Sherri,

I wonder why your messages have attachments.

Hi everyone,

Before I go through the steps to uninstall and reinstall AVG (I've
already done a file repair on it), maybe you guys have a suggestion.
When I start my computer, I get the message that the internal virus data
base is out of date. When I try to load updates, I get the following
error message:
graphic 438 Update process could not be finished due to insufficient
free disk space or insufficient user rights.

I am using Windows XP home. Where do I go to check my administrative
tools settings and what do I need to be looking for or change.

I also did a spell check and wanted to add something to the auto-correct
menu and it wouldn't let me and gave me a similar error message. Any
help would be very much appreciated and I thank you all in advance so as
not to clutter of the list with "thank yous". *smile*.
