[gui-talk] Still frustrated with my computer

Sheri -- I'm afraid administrative options are limited in XP home rather
than pro. But if you are out of disk space you can always go to my computer
and right click on your hard disk and check sizes on the general tab. (Note,
you need to do this with the jaws cursor).
It sounds likely that it is a disk space problem rather than a permissions
problem, given the 2 examples you mention. You will probably need to defrag
or just clean off your hard disk, or even purchase an external drive of
large size to store bulky folders.
Sorry I'm not more help. Good luck.

Subject: [gui-talk] Still frustrated with my computer

Hi everyone,

Before I go through the steps to uninstall and reinstall AVG (I've already
done a file repair on it), maybe you guys have a suggestion. When I start my
computer, I get the message that the internal virus data base is out of
date. When I try to load updates, I get the following error message:
graphic 438 Update process could not be finished due to insufficient free
disk space or insufficient user rights.

I am using Windows XP home. Where do I go to check my administrative tools
settings and what do I need to be looking for or change.

I also did a spell check and wanted to add something to the auto-correct
menu and it wouldn't let me and gave me a similar error message. Any help
would be very much appreciated and I thank you all in advance so as not to
clutter of the list with "thank yous". *smile*.
