[gui-talk] Still frustrated with my computer

Hi Sherri,

You said that you did a system restore. A few weeks ago, I performed a
system restore on a friend's computer who uses AVG, and she got the same
message when her computer restarted. If AVG updates daily, then the
system restore will knock out those updates, and the program will have
to rebuild its database. I'll have to think about yor other problems.

Subject: [gui-talk] Still frustrated with my computer

Hi everyone,

Before I go through the steps to uninstall and reinstall AVG (I've
already done a file repair on it), maybe you guys have a suggestion.
When I start my computer, I get the message that the internal virus data
base is out of date. When I try to load updates, I get the following
error message:
graphic 438 Update process could not be finished due to insufficient
free disk space or insufficient user rights.

I am using Windows XP home. Where do I go to check my administrative
tools settings and what do I need to be looking for or change.

I also did a spell check and wanted to add something to the auto-correct
menu and it wouldn't let me and gave me a similar error message. Any
help would be very much appreciated and I thank you all in advance so as
not to clutter of the list with "thank yous". *smile*.
