I wasn't addressing the site's adequacy but just telling the sender how to
access it without his browser crashing.

Albert,
If that URL is the way to directly load the alternative Amazon site, the
simplified one they developed mostly for users of hand held devices,I
wouldn't consider that an adequate substitution for the normal Amazon site.
It doesn't just have a simplified home page with fewer global navigation
links and arrays of services, all of which seems handy enough to a screen
reader user. Unfortunately, it also isn't really an accurate, up to date
equivalent of the main Amazon site, and in the case of certain attributes,
it's a complete washout that costs the hopeful user money spent for nothing.
I refer to the fact that, last time I checked, the "access" version of the
site still didn't show notices of free super saver shipping eligibility for
items that were eligible if you'd found them on the main site; that
deficiency alone is enough to deter me from dabbling with that URL. Also,
unless something's changed lately, it doesn't offer the one-click ordering
option, either. This is not a full service Amazon site, and the customer who
opts to use it is shopping Amazon in an inferior way that may cause them
needless frustration and extra money, as well.
IMHO, etc.

Try typing /access after Amazon

Hi,
When I go to www.amazon.com using system access to go, it takes forever for
the page to load, like more than five minutes or so and I'm on a fast 100
plus k bps connection. Is this a bug in system access and internet
explorer7? I wish system access would work with firefox that way this would
not happen.
