Oh, if only I had waited a little longer; then, I could have spared myself 
Vista.  Don't get me wrong, Vista's got some very interesting things about 
it; but, frankly, for the audio work I do, Vista really is beginning to 
suck...JAWS focus issues in Sound Forge, no audio feedback from the line in 
jack, Windows Mail navigation difficulties...shall I go on?

The Eee PC from Asus has been discussed quite a bit on this list.  According 
to some information that was posted on
www.eeeuser.com
the version with Windows XP preinstalled will be available at Best Buy 
beginning on April 9, and it will sell for $399.00.
