Dean,

Although not immediately apparent, this is very easy to do.

Go to your notes folder in Outlook and arrow onto the note of interest and
hit control c to copy the note to your clipboard. Now get to your desktop
and simply hit control v. The note will appear on your desktop as a .msg
file. It is just simply a copy and paste operation.

Subject: [gui-talk] Moving a note to the desktop in Outlook 2003

I'm reading some documentation designed for mainstream users of Outlook.
One of the capabilities they discuss is that of placing a text note on the
desktop. One drags the note to the desktop. I am sure I could re-learn the
screen reader drag and drop command which I have seldom had occasion to use,
but I can't seem to conceive of another way to do this within Outlook using
the keyboard. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Dean
