[gui-talk] Seeing links in Outlook mail messages

Interesting. That actually did work here as well but at least for me,
doesn't seem to be consistent. I have had links in text messages that would
not work with the enter key unless I placed the cursor on the colon.

Hi Dean,
Rather strange, but I can bring up Chuck's link by hitting Enter provided
that the PC Cursor is on at least the second character of the link. In other
words, not the h but instead the t.

Chuck, thanks for your message. The link appears on its own line, but I
cannot hit enter to activate it. I can route JAWS to pc and use the left
mouse button, or at least I assume I can; I didn't actually do it this time.
I'd like to be able to hit Enter on it like I could in eudora, a
theoretically inferior program.

Certainly this should work. Here is a link to my blog, it should start on
its own line. Let me know if this comes up as a link:

I have recently forced myself to switch from Eudora to Outlook 2003, soon
2007, because that's what everybody uses. One disappointment with the
switch is that when I read e-mail messages in Eudora, I could simply click
(hit enter on) a web link and go directly there. With Outlook, running xp
Pro and IE7, this does not happen. I can't find an Outlook setting to
change the behavior. I hope Charles Opperman, or somebody else, can
enlighten me on how to fix this.
Thanks in advance.
Dean
