No, your library will not send you a player at this time.  They 
aren't available to mid 2008, and first players go to veterans by 
law.  So, if you are not a veteran, it is likely that it will be 2009 
or 2010 before you will get a loaner.

The Victor Reader Stream is $329, plus you will also have to buy a SD 
(Secure Digital) flash memory card to hold books.  That cost depends 
on the size of the card.
