Actually, when you look at all the different formats and things you can play
on the Stream, such as but not limited to: Book Share books in the Daisy
text-based format, MP3's, which could be either music, audio books, or movie
audio, eventually Audible books, talking books, text files, and more that
I'm probably missing; you can see that the Stream is very reasonably priced.
Some months ago, features for the new Book Port were posted and it was
estimated that this new model would be over $400. Considering that, I'd say
that the Victor Stream is actually a pretty good buy, and perhaps even a
steal at only $329. Don't forget that you can also record short and long
messages on the Stream. As for me, I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my
Stream. According to my coworkers, they are too, if only for the fact that
they can take a look at this nifty device.
