True on both counts.  I just checked with Humanware to find out if they have an approximate date for Audible compatibility and they don't.

I think I read that the loaner players will not be available until next
year.  The Victor Reader Stream costs $329, or, at least, that's what I
paid for mine.

OK, I've been approved and am in the process of downloading a book.  
Since I chose the "loaner player" option during signup, will my regional
library send me a player?  If not, how do I get the Victor player and
how expensive is it?
