[gui-talk] Which update to choose for new AVG Free Edition installation?

You actualy should install both. The first one you are presented with 
updates your virus definitions. This you should install first. then 
run the check for update again and this time have it download and 
install the second update which will update your scan engine and some 
of the program components.
