Hello Kelly and listers,

    Perhaps a, "Copy all page attributes" function could be added to future
releases of screen readers. This is certainly something to suggest to GW
Micro  and Freedom Scientific among others.

Hello,

The best option is to turn off whatever virtual mode your screen reader has
such as JAWS virtual PC or Window-Eyes Browse Mode.  Then press ctrl+a and
ctrl+c to copy the text to the clipboard and paste where desired.  If you
don't want all the text you may need to edit after doing the paste.

You can also use some of the drag

Apologies for the cross posting.

I am involved in a project where it is necessary to copy and paste text and
its accompanying attributes from Internet Explorer into Word.  I know that
all of the screen reading programs on the market allow one to copy and paste
the text of a Web page; what you get is the text and nothing else.  If I
were a mouse user, I could not only copy the text itself but also the text
attributes such as color, font, etc.  Has anyone found a way to do this
nonvisually?  The mouse cursors provided with the screen reading programs do
not seem to be of any help in this regard.

I fear I may be forced to use a sighted reader, which is a perfectly
acceptable albeit less economical approach<smile>.  Any and all help would
be appreciated.
