Doug,
That was my suspicion, too, but I explored that dialogue as best I could,
and not just with the Tab key, and didn't find anything but what I
described. The edit field for your email address was labeled as optional,
but even that I went ahead and filled out, just in case. Didn't make any
difference. But next time the dialogue pops up as my computer starts, I'll
explore the dialogue once again.
thanks for responding.

Usually that means something is not checked or filled out that is
required in the dialog, and the button you're clicking will be
disabled until that is fixed. Look for other fields on screen that
may not have been so obvious for some reason, for example, by not
appearing in the tab order as you tab through the dialog.

Hi,
I've recently download and installed the latest upgrade of Winamp, Version
5.5, and everything is almost in place except for this Winamp Remote option.
I'm not sure just what it's for, but Albert reassures me that it's fine to
include it in the installation.
Okay, so I have tried to accept it. But if anyone knows this drill, there's
a dialogue where you're supposed to submit log-in information (I guess this
has something to do with going online to obtain music files somewhere?). You
provide a User ID and a password, confirm the password, furnish an optional
email address, then click on a Finish button.
Well, I can't do that. The Finish button refuses to respond to either the
Enter key or the spacebar. Jaws doesn't say that pressing alt F is on option
here, but I tried it anyway and of course that didn't do anything. I also
tried switching to the Jaws cursor, finding the Finish button and left
clicking it. But no response to that, either.
Oddly, the Cancel button *does* respond, so I'm able to close the dialogue
after confirming that's what I mean to do. The confirmation keypress also
works, of course.
Any suggestions?
Thanks very much.
