Details:
Set your paper to landscape mode, use centering for your text, Arial font is
the most readable for signs (you may use bold if you want and/or all caps),
use a size of 48 or 72 (72 is one inch), set your margins all around to .5
You will want to only include a short message such as "Outgoing package" or
"Ring for outgoing package". At a large font size you will not fit much on
the paper. Also, I would have someone sighted verify that your words are
not wrapping or self hyphenating before you have it laminated.
Cindy
PS If you want, tell me what you want it to say and I will send you the file
and you can just print it at your end.

Hi,
It will be packages that will be shipping out. I have a mail slot on my
storm door and that's how I get my mail. If I have any packages that they
need to give to me they will ring the door bell to give to me.

Are you receiving a package or sending a package? If you are sending a
package, I use a 3 x 5 card and tape it to the door of my mail box and it
says:
Outgoing mail also on porch
Is your mail box on the house or out by the street? If it is out by the
street, I doubt the mail man would see it since they wouldn't normally look
at your front door.
Let me know if these help and if not I will give you specific directions for
printing on an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper (formatting, font, font size).

Hi everyone,
I need some suggestions on how to make a sign that I can print out big
enough to sit in my storm door window for the mail man to see. The only
thing I got to use is some braille paper I can print on. Now How can I
print a message on a piece of braille paper telling the mail man that I have
a package to be picked up? I want the letters to be big enough so they can
see them. I will tell my mail man to be watching out for it when he
delivers my mail but I have different mail mans some time when he's not
working. I will be getting it laminated so it can be reusable. Any
suggestions would be helpful.
