Are you using the latest version of pc suite? I had this problem where my
phone, computer, and pc suite didn't want to talk to each other. There was
finally an update to the software and it finally worked.

Hi,
I connected the phone when the program asked for it. However, the next
button was labeled unavailable for me to click on it. Since I didn't here
the familiar windows sound when plugging in the cable to the usb port, or it
was only a fleeting sound, I assume the phone was not connected. Besides, I
didn't see it anywhere.

Hi,

When I installed my copy of Nokia PC Suite to use with my Nokia 6620, I only
had success getting the phone to communicate with my PC via the USB cable
when I went through the PC Suite's connection wizard. It seems the phone has
to be connected at a particular point in the "hookup" procedure for all to
work properly. The phone also must not be security protected or locked when
establishing the connection.

Regards,
Stan

Subject: [gui-talk] Pc suite

Hi all,
I'm using windows xp professional. I've got a new nokia e 50 phone and I've
installed pc suite for that phone. I've tried to connect the phone to my
computer using the cable which is a usb connection. Sometimes, I can hear
the sound that windows makes when a device is being plugged in the usb port
but it immediately makes the disconnect noise also, and windows does not see
the phone.
This is a fairly new computer, about 15 months old, and so the usb port I
believe are the newer ones. The driver for the phone is suppose to be in the
pc suite software.
Does anyone have any ideas on what's going on. My pc suite program for nokia
6600 has been sucessfully uninstalled. I thought that was the problem. Not
so. Help would be appreciated.
