Another thing too.  IF you're hearing music from your DVD, that means the 
DVD is waiting for you to press the play button on the disk menus.  IF you 
press the enter key, this will start the feature actually playing.  HTH.

Tom, allot depends on the drive you have in your computer.  Most of the 
media programs like windows media and real player and, I think, even winamp 
will play them if the drive in your computer supports it.

I've tried to listen to a DVD but I can only get the start up music.
