[gui-talk] Window-eyes question

Rick:

I use JAWS. However, if you're in the message field of a mail message
and usine Outlook Express, hit Shift+Tab once and you'll see the
attachment field. If you're using Outlook, be advised that the JAWS
Insert+A field doesn't always show the attachments. Better to hit the
Applications Key when reading the message and one of the choices is, if
I remember correctly, "View Attachments Submenu".

Subject: [gui-talk] Window-eyes question

We have just gotten Window-eyes here at work. I have a few
questions.

1. How does one read an attachment? In JAWS, the keystroke is
Insert-a, but I can't find an equivalent in Window-eyes.

2. How can I get the Enter key to say Enter? Now, it is silent.

3. In JAWS, there is a verbosity setting for Excel "read both titles,"
meaning row and column. How does Window-eyes handle this.

4. I use one application in which I want to use the Braille display
without the synthesizer. Is there a way to put it in sleep mode just
for that application, or is there a way to mute the synthesizer?

Thank you for any help you can give me.
