[gui-talk] IE7

Well, that's exactly what I've always taken "sound event" to mean, thanks. I
guess I was briefly a little confused because RSS feed availability has
never been announced to me with a sound effect, which I'd like to call this
with a tolerant smile for technifying everything, calling problems "issues,"
knowledge "information," and the rest. Sound event. What is that, something
derived from NASA vocabulary about things that happen during a space shuttle
flight, like asteroids smashing into the hull? Sorry, just always makes me
smile. anyway, I haven't had any sound events associated with RSS
availability, nor climatic events, nor sports events, either. Guess my
computer is out of the loop or something. It does say "RSS feeds available"
when a page opens that has them, but I guess that isn't good enough? It's
got to go "bing!" or "bong!" or "ratr-a-tat-a-tat?"
Nothing personal. Just having fun while still on my first mug of coffee out
here in Pacific Daylight Time.
Thanks.

>From what I understand, a sound event are those sounds that you hear in
windows, like the ding when you get to the end of where your cursor can go,
or the click when a thing is opening. When you go into sounds, and you see
all the different things you can have sounds for, those things are called
sound events. Pam.
