Hallo!
There may be some Afrikaans-speakers/readers on the list who don't yet know about the new software Afrikaans synthesiser. It was developed by Jonathan Duddington in England and Christo de Klerk and Willem van der Walt in South Africa. For those of us who have been struggling to read Afrikaans with sometimes incomprehensible Dutch and English synthesisers, this is a great breakthrough. The synthesiser was developed using Microsoft's SDK and is now, after the English synthesiser, the most advancedESpeak synthesiser. It is fully compatible with Window-Eyes. Those who are interested, may obtain the synthesiser free of charge from Christo at mailto:cjdk at mweb.co.za cjdk at mweb.co.za
Regards.
