Because of the hype that preceded the introduction of this device, I was
slightly disappointed when I heard the review, but after more thought, I
am still impressed with the device. The areas that are not accessible,
are, for the most part, items that you would seldom change, such as the
time and date. I have a watch, and several calendars, so I do not have
a need for my audio recorder to tell me the time and date, and as
Michael said, perhaps these functions can be set through the use of the
companion software. There is the Milestone, distributed in this country
by Independent Living Aids, but it costs at least $100 more.

I first want to say thanks for these reviews of this device. Since this
device doesn't seem to be as accessible as first stated, does anybody
have any recommendations for a device? I have to recommend equipment
for students. Since the Parrot is out of production at the time, I need
a substitute device. I would appreciate your suggestions.
Thanks!
