[gui-talk] K1000 on Windows Vista?

Hi Don.

Version 11 should run as is on Vista. The one known problem is that 
MP3 creation pretty much requires use of the lame_enc.dll file (which 
you can get off the internet pretty easily, and get information about 
by calling technical support at KESI). That problem will be addressed 
in a patch which should be out fairly soon.

Version 10, and earlier versions of K1000, are guaranteed to not work 
on Vista - there is a rather strange crash after five minutes that 
involves a component that reads and writes ZIP files. That component 
was purchased, not created by KESI engineers, and it had to be 
modified elsewhere for version 11.
