Ah yep, its always marvelous when you can do something like that and  
I wouldn't be without my fax particularly now that my hearing is near  
to gone.
I've used a number of different fax applications including Winfax and  
all have had their strengths and weaknesses as pieces of software do  
but I know I'm really going to celebrate when I finally work out how  
to send faxes with the Mac's built-in fax software. <smile>.
I had bagged K1000 on this list and I take back a few poitns of what  
I said. One of the really nice things I do like about K1000 however  
is its built-in fax utility, the people at Kurzweil have done a  
really neat job with this and its perfectly fitting for the K1000  
application to have this utility particularly when it can be set up  
to receive faxes as well, that's more than can be said for Open Books  
fax utility which I'm told can only send faxes, howe useful is that  
<smile>.
Finally on the subject of faxes, the best way to send and receive  
faxes I've found is through a dedicated fax machine, I have one of  
the HP variety which intergrates with the computers on the network  
here and that opens up a whole range of faxing possabilities.
