This is an interesting article about computer security that you can

It is written by one of the people involved in developing CounterSpy 
which is a product that removes spyware so it does have a bias but I 
still found the information interesting.  CounterSpy is available 
from www.sunbelt-software.com and it is very accessible when used 
with Window-eyes.
