Bud, my memory on this one is a little bit foggy, nevertheless if my
memory of this application serves correctly it's something like the
following.
If you are making a data cd as it sounds like you are, when you are in
the left side of this tree view window you are viewing the contents of
your hard drive, and in the right side of this same window you are
presented with the contents of the cd image you are creating to burn
later in the process.
If you select a file or folder on the left side of the window from your
hard drive or another source then you go to the "edit menu" "alt+e" and
select add selected, add selected files, or something similar.
When you select this option the file is added to the cd image.
Good luck and hth - Ed.

Hi Gang,

I have a three year old Dell PC that has e z cd creator, 5 basic I
believe it's called. I wonder if any of you have the same version
and can answer a question. I'm trying to putsome files on a cd from
my hard drive. I can get it up to where I get to the list of files
but can't seem to figure how to put them in the place where they
should be to make a cd. If i get on in and add a second one it
cancels the first one out. It's been a while since I have used it
and the details slip my mind. If anybody is familiar with this
version could you give me some step by step directions as to how to do
it?

Thanks.
