To the Super Blinks of the World:

Do you only feel elevated by putting others down?

Do you only feel good when you make others feel bad?

Are you so insecure that you must attack those who are less fortunate than you?

Not everyone is the same. Some people are sighted; some people are not. Some people can hear; some people can not. Some people are ambulatory; some people are not. Some blind people are very proficient with their canes; some others are not, and will never be, for any number of reasons -- like advanced age; diseases which not only impair one's health, but their other senses as well; people with balance problems; people with mental impairments, and the list goes on and on.

The fact that there are super blinks on this planet who only need a cane to navigate anywhere in the biosphere, is fine, and I say more power to them. But to expect everyone else who is visually-impaired to be as perfect as these super blinks who are blinded (in more ways than just the obvious) profess to be, is not only ludicrous, but borders on the absurd.

Those of you who can walk on water, have at it. But in the meantime, stop ragging on those who don't, and can't possibly measure up to your level, no matter how hard they try, simply because it's beyond their capabilities.

This "I am better than you ore anyone else, not just in spite of the fact that I am blind, but *BECAUSE* I'm blind" attitude is not only sickening and disgusting (not to mention stupid), it's downright dangerous to the safety and well-being of other blind and visually-impaired people in this world who do, for whatever reasons that need not be justified to you or anyone else, don't just want, but need whatever other advantages that can be provided to them so they can merely survive in this world of darkness that they did not ask for, but in which they are forced to live.

There are some blind people who navigate perfectly well without the aid and assistance of any mobility devices whatsoever -- not even a cane. They have perfected the use of echo location -- just like bats. So if they can do it, then why can't you?

You think you're so perfect as a super-blink, then before you say another word of condemnation to those who can't measure up to your standards, then keep your own mouth shut until you can get around as effortlessly using just echo location as can others. Until then, I'm sure there are many who would gladly tell you where to stick your canes, since they are surely unnecessary for REAL Super Blinks.
