But as I said earlier, most 2.4GHZ phones are "spread spectrum" that
is to say that they change channels or frequency's of their own accord
so if your phone does this (as I'm pretty sure it would) then you
could be right out of luck.

Sometimes you can minimize this by changing the channel being used.  Your router usually allows you to change
channels somewhere and some phones still do.  Your computer may need to reacquire your connection when you
change channels on your router, though.  Also, if possible, don't sit such that your phone is near your router.  You've
probably already thought of that, but it's easy to overlook.  There also may be some differences whether one uses
802.11B or 802.11G modes on the router.
I like the idea of 900MHZ digital phones, does anyone know if we have those here in the United States?

Scott,
Do you know what mHz your phone is?  We didn't have problems with our
internet per say but we had multiple cordless phones of different ranges.  A
sales person told us about the interference and also mentioned that we could
run into problems with a router (which we didn't have at the time).  We then
purchased one of the new phones that allow you to add multiple handsets and
they are all now at 2.4 so we could make sure that we wouldn't cause
problems with the router we were going to purchase.
HTH,
Cindy

Has anyone other than me experienced the following problem?
When I get on my phone wich is cordless, I lose my
connection. As soon as I hang up within a few seconds I'm
back online. Has anyone found any way around this problem?
Most of the time it's not a big deal, but I was trying to
give some information to someone who was on the phone and I
had to check something else and I had to hang up with them in
order to get access to the internet to get the information.
