If you are using Windows XP, you can use the File and Settings Transfer
Wizard to transfer all or some of your files and settings to a new
machine. If you have a network, it will find the other machine
automatically, or you can copy everything into a massive file on a
removable drive and use the same tool on the new machine to restore.
Good luck!

Subject: [gui-talk] transfering of e-mail and favorites to a new PC

                                Hello all,

I've just purchased a new PC and wish to transfer my e-mail from one
machine to another. I have several sub mail boxes on my old machine so
that I can look up particular e-mail by subject interest. I.E. blind
computer techniques, interesting web sites, etc. Also, I wish to move
my favorites to my new machine.
Can someone let me know how to do this? I have an exterior hard
drive that I thought I'd utilize to transfer the files.
    Thanks, John
