OK I have ny new notebook set up where I am the user with what I thought is full adim rights.  However when I attempt to access some folders or modify a file I get the message access denied.  How do you set it up where you get full access?  An example is that I can't create new shortcuts on the desktop or after installing a new application I can't modify its INI file however I can copy the INI file and move it to another location, modify it then cut and paste it back where the original is with of course all the dialogs popping up asking me several times whether I really want to do it.
I am liking Vista but this security can be a real pain.
