Off by one.  If searching the NFB web site, try putting a hyphen in there,
as in K-NFB Reader.  

Also there is a company now which is marketing and further developing it.
Go to http://www.knfbreader.com
(this time you don't want the hyphen).  I haven't tried reading CD labels
with one yet; the unit costs about $2,400 at present.  The standalone
barcode scanner products you were looking for are above $1,000, I think, and
who knows whether the CD's in your collection would be in the
database.Google for K-NFB Reading Technologies.
