hi:
Anyone understand how to get parental controls to read properly in IE7
internet options under vista?
When I use it I get a categories list, a slider bar with none, limited,
and unrestricted settings, and some other fields. I am not certain how
to pick a category and set the level for it, as well as how to exempt
URL(s) and sub-URLS from the parental control rules. Also, Norton
Internet Security on vista keeps asking if I want to continue for lots
of things--while this is annoying it is more annoying that JAWS isn't
reading these messages. it is vista almost lowest version running on a
Compaq vista laptop--came preloaded.
Also, when I set up an administrator user different than the initial
user, then changed the initial user to regular user, JAWS gives an error
message about video driver intercept not working right for the new admin
user, but works fine for the old now regular user.
Also, I have a wireless connection set up, and it activates when I
select "internet" from the start menu, but doesn't seem to be working
when using IE7 from the other new admin account--any thoughts from
people who have vista now?
