I don't know if this will work for you, but here's what I tried and it
worked fine.

When I purchased this book with one click, I was prompted to log in and was
prompted to go to my media library.
I could have the book emailed to me, download it. or view it.
When I tried to download it, it was going to be a PDF.
So instead, I chose to view it, and then, it was presented as one fairly
large html web page.
It read just fine.
The book is called A Dish Served Cold, apparently a detective mystery of
some kind that I just chose at random to test this out.

.

Hi,
I am not sure what format the book is in. I cannot even find the text of the
book. There are links to parts of the book like the cover, copyright, table
of contents, back cover, etc.
