Okay, I am assuming that you are using win eyes right? In win eyes, is
there a setting to have the application curser follow the braille curser
(I.e. enabling a feature where the screen reader will follow the braille
display. JFW has a feature called braille follow active and active follow
braille where you can set the screen reader to force the application curser
along with your display)? Here is a simple test to see if this linking is
enabled.
1) Open a word document
2) make sure the insertion point is at the top of the document
3) if the document has text in it, and the text is more then one line down,
please move the display down one line by using the display's control
buttons.
4) If there is nothing in the document, type a few words on two lines and
follow step 3 above.
5) Do a say line with your screen reader. If the screen reader says
something different then the display is, then this feature is not turned on.
Also if the display moves back up to that line then you also know that the
curser in the application is not tracking the display. Please let me know
if this helps you.

very simple, pull up a document in word for example. Use the display to
read, when I get to the end of what is showing on the computer the Braille
display will not advance the screen. It is wireless and I would have to walk
back to the computer and push something like page down, and then hope the
display would follow. Thank you for asking----- Original Message -----
