I will be in the market for a new computer soon (as soon as I have
enough cash).  What requirements do I need to make sure I have for
assistive tech?

I use JAWS 6.0, Kurzweil 1000 v.10.  I also tend to use a lot of things
at once: MSWord, Keysync, PC Suite, bluetooth adapter, media player.  I
would love one of the media center pcs.

Since I have not kept up to date on all the terminology for computer
specs, I looked at an add the other day and things have changed so much
it reads almost like greek.

What are the benefits of dual core processors?  What should I look for
for the things I want to run?
