The BlinDIA project{1} was started on May the 11th, 2006;

it is pure volunteering and aims to offer many alternate blind friendly
solutions for those who want to be able to install a Debian{2}
Gnu/Linux{3} Free and Open{4} operating system on their PC, without
the help from a sighted partner or friend.

They currently have released two products:
- an installer script for some "Live on CD" Linux distributions
    (currently Grml{5} and Knoppix{6}, 2 braille-enabled live on CDs)
- and a mini netboot CD image with braille support for all braille
    displays

Visit the BlinDIA web page for more details ...
