I think many of us read in the Kim Komando newsletter that some of the other available firewalls like ZoneAlarm ETC did a better job and covered both directions.  She did speak highly about Windows Defender for spyware and is very accessible as far as I can tell.

Sahir, I haven't found a good firewall program, but I highly recommend NOD32
by eset.com for the antivirus program, which is the same one that GWMicro
suggests.

I am looking for an anti-virus and fire wall programs accessible with
Window-Eyes.  We have McAfee at home and Norton at work, and neither is
totally accessible.  Well, especially McAfee has not been easy to use.
