[gui-talk] Maim menu shows

Sorry. I just realized that, although I've listened to a few Main Menu
shows myself (not usually while they're being broadcast, but later), I am
not clear about the distinction between archived sound files for streaming
only online and actual podcast files. Maybe these Main Menu shows aren't
podcasts, right? I mean, if they were, I suppose we'd be invited to
pod-catch them, so to speak.

If you use Windows Media Player, there's a fast forward capability there,
too. And I'm sure the same is possible with Winamp, the favorite in some
quarters. But I agree with anyone who thinks it would be convenient if a
podcast could be encoded with section markers you could skip around, so that
you wouldn't have to start all over again if you left off in the middle,
which I have a feeling is the scenario that's being thought of, here.
Because that fast forwarding can be pretty tedious and time consuming to
have to rely on.

If you listen to them with real player, you can turbo forward through them.

| Hi,
| Recently main menu did programs on the new versions of jfw and windoweyes.
| Those shows are about 2 hours in length. I was wondering if there was any
| way to listen to those shows in segments.
| Thanks.
