The export-import wizzard is designed to do exactly what you are 
attempting to do.

If my export-import failed for whatever reason, I'd then follow Otis' 
suggestion.
In the future, if you choose to use the wizzard, I would save the 
resulting file to one on a flash drive, flopy disk, etc.
That way, the directory path might be easier to find.
