Subject: [gui-talk] Player for .m4v Files

Hello everyone,

I have entered the world of podcasting and have encountered video
podcasts with the .m4v extension. This is a video file format and I need
to know which player will allow me to view these files, or what software
I can use to convert them to the .wmv or a more readily available video
file format. Many of the sites from which I obtained these files listed
I-Tunes as a suggested program for downloading and viewing these files
making me think that this is a proprietary format specific to I-Tunes is
this correct or can they be viewed using another media player?Your
enlightening me on these matters will be very much appreciated. Take
care and happy Halloween.
