Did you go in to program files and kill the directory that the software
created? It usually has the same name. If you don't delete the directory it
will try to reinstall.

Your probably going to run a Registry cleaner like Regscrubxp.
Believe you can find it at:
www.jfwlite.com

This is provided you are running Windows XP

Subject: [gui-talk] Startup Problem

I am experiencing a rather annoying problem perhaps one of you can shed
a bit of light on it. I installed a demo version of a software package
on my system. I ran it for a while and un-installed it. The system
locked up during the un-install and I had to reboot by shutting off the
computer. Now every time I restart the machine the system attempts to
load the package that has been un-installed. I am informed that the
software doesn't exist and can't be located on any drive on my system.
I am then given the opportunity to click on ok and the system behaves
normally. I attempted to re-install the package and de-install it going
through all the correct methods and I am still plagued with this startup
message. It doesn't affect the systems performance but it is one of
those miner annoyances. How can I get rid of this annoying problem?
Any information would be appreciated.
