Tnx! List view is off, but I haven't looked at the "unread icon" in aeons. As this is on a network, odd things happen sometimes. (grin)

 Nick,

I have not had this problem with Window-Eyes, and in my limited use of the JFW demo I have not seen this either. However, I have noticed that the two
screen
readers handle the message list very differently. I have noticed that both Window-Eyes and JFW sometimes are limited to what is displayed and sometimes
they go
beneath the hood, so to speak, to get more complete information. The funny thing is that they seem to do this at different times. In the case of PMMail,
JFW seems
to be more affected by the display than is Window-Eyes. Therefore, I am wondering if the "unread" and the "any mail" icons are interfering with the display.
You
might want to go into Folders and Properties and see if turning these off has any effect on the display. Also, turn the preview window off if it isn't already. If
you
normally have it off, be warned that the preview pane can be turned on with CONTROL PGUP so I have done it by accident before. This seems to be a
standard
list view, though, unless I am not understanding your issue.
