Probably, the status bar is not visible on her screen. Go to the View menu
(Alt+V), arrow down to "status bar" and press enter if it is already not
checked. Jaws will read if it is checked.

Hi, listers,

I am using Jaws 7 on a Windows 2000 machine.  I can get the cumulative size
of a group of selected files in Windows Explorer by pressing insert+page
down.

A co-worker is using Jaws 7 on a Windows XP machine but when she presses
insert+page down, she is not given the size of anything.Is there something
in XP that prevents the reading of the status line in Windows Explorer?
