[gui-talk] yahoo messenger

Hi Denise, I have yahoo messenger installed on my computer here at home and I do not have any icon in the system tray.
Note, if I do not have an icon in the system tray for it I am guessing that I removed it at some point given the fact that yahoo messenger does run in the system tray by default.
I think I just pressed enter on it from the system tray and one of the options found in there allowed me to remove the program from the system tray without fully uninstalling the software if memory serves correctly.
If I can help further feel free to write to me directly.
Also, on an unrelated note how did you make out with the handitalk braille display at your place of work?

Somehow, I have turned yahoo messenger on. I want to disable this program
