The screen area is the same as far as I know and when I switch to
classic start menu, I can use the application key to bring up the menu
again, but when I switch back to XP's start menu, I can't get it to work
again.

Has your screen area changed or display settings, and if you revert to
the Classic style, does anything change for the positive?

I am using The XP start menu. I used to be able to access the right
click/application menu in the start menu just fine, but a while ago it
quit working.

Hi everyone,
For some time now, I have not been able to get the menu to come up
when I highlight an item and either right click or hit the applications
key. I'd like to remove some items and rearrange the order of items in
my start menu, but since I can't get the menu that allows this to come
up, I'm not sure what I can do. Is there any way to restore this
function? I don't have any problem anywhere else, this only happens in
the start menu.
