[gui-talk] Comparison of BookPort and BookCourier

The Book Port is more feature rich. The interface is accessible but most of
its 18 keys have multiple functions so there is a learning curve. While it
was ahead of its time when it was released four years ago, I feel someone
will release a more compact device which will play a grater variety of copy
protected file types.
 I believe it weighs in at around six ounces. It does have upgradeable
firmware but I've never received a response to my questions about increasing
the number of protected formats. Therefore, if you don't have to have one
right away, I suggest waiting until next year to see if a better version of
the same or newer product hits the market.----- Original Message -----
