Skype version 2.5.0.126 is now available and one place where you can 
download it from is at www.skype.com.  Here are the changes in this version:

bugfix: on rare occasion Skype crashed on startup
bugfix: there was an incorrect prefix auto added with predictive 
dialer when dialling
US numbers
bugfix: green button did not change to resume while call was on hold
bugfix: in chat some PSTN numbers were not recognized
bugfix: Skype crash on selecting country by flag in Edit My Profile dialog
bugfix: API: In some cases app2app communication caused Skype crash
